报告人及简介:

Hiroshi Uyama, Professor of Osaka University, Japan. He held a M.S. degree from Kyoto University, and a Ph.D. degree in Applied Chemistry from Tohoku University. Prof. Uyama joined the School of Engineering Osaka University in 2004. Prior to this, he worked at Kyoto University for 8 years. Up to now, Prof. Uyama has published more than 300 papers and has got more than 60 patents. Prof. Uyama’s research focuses on polymer materials. His current research projects include:

1) plant oil-based plastics;

2) functional porous polymer monoliths;

3) nanofiber technology for bio-related applications.
